Another Face..... Of Multiple Myeloma

Well another year will soon be part of our memory, and when faced with myeloma or any kind of illness- the thought of seeing another year is not to be taken lightly. My book "Another Face - Of Multiple Myeloma will be available on Amazon and my site showcasing my story and my journey with this disease. It has not been easy- but I tell you this experience has made me stronger. I embrace another year with thanks to God for allowing me to get to this point. I don't know what the future holds, but I know it's in my best interest to make the most of every day. This Christmas was great with just my husband and I and laying comatose in front of the television. I appreciate the time of quiet and rest, which is something I don't get much of and is actually dire in my condition. So as we fold in the old year and unwrap the new- I wish you all new and old friends the very best in 2013. CHEERS TO A HAPPIER- HEALTHIER NEW YEAR!! Yolanda

Hi, Welcome to my blog. I'm excited to share my journey with you. I'm in the midst of publishing a book on my experiences with multiple myeloma. It has been an insane journey the past few years. I know there are many of you with the same concerns, apprehensions, anxieties; there are many who may not know what multiple myeloma means.... Multiple myloma in  a nut shell is a cancer- yep another cancer on the map of absurdity.... A cancer that affects the blood and bones, A cancer that can bring about havoc with a simple break or fracture to a bone. A cancer that  brings on anemia. A plain old pest.... However with this said; I'm living my life to the fullest. I'm so in following the  YOLO term - You Only Live Once . Hope you enjoy my book and my new movement- "Mad About Myeloma" Blessings! Y
